Cifal Málaga
CIFAL Málaga, the International Training Centre for Authorities and Leaders, is a centre under the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). Like the other centres that form part of the CIFAL Global Network, CIFAL Málaga has the following objectives:
To facilitate the transfer of knowledge, experiences, and best practices among representatives from the public sector, private sector, and civil society leaders.
To promote cooperation and the development of multi-stakeholder partnerships.
To provide opportunities that foster collaboration between cities.
To contribute to the development of local and national strategies.
The mission of CIFAL Málaga is to offer training opportunities and the exchange of best practices, tools, and strategies among local and regional authorities, international organisations, the private sector, and civil society. It also aims to support local actors by enhancing their decision-making processes through increased leadership in the implementation of innovative solutions, contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda.Cifal Málaga, together with Amazon, organises and coordinates the Cascos Verdes project. Under the umbrella of this project, Life Terra organised a tree planting event in Las Rozas 2024 with pupils and educators from Colegio Zola and employees from Amazon and Amazon Web Services. We hope to keep collaborting with Cifal Málaga to repeat the experience
