Gemeente Nijmegen
Gemeente Nijmegen has been a long-term partner with whom we've planted at more than 10 different planting sites throughout the city. Their aim is to plant 1000 new full-grown trees per year, to increase air quality, biodiversity and green area's in the city. We have collaborated with gemeente Nijmegen to expand on this plan and create forests besides the full grown trees. Part of this partnership has been a project in collaboration with the local Radboud University. Together, we've planted 1923 trees close to the University, to celebrate the 100th anniversity of the University in 2023. De gemeente Nijmegen has expressed their long-term commitment to plant more trees in their municipality, so we are expecting to partner on more of these wonderful projects in future.
