Generalitat Valenciana

The Generalitat Valenciana is the government of the region of Valencia, Spain. Life Terra has collaborated with the Generalitat Valenciana through their Education, Culture, Universities, and Employment Department to coordinate a series of planting actions in the province of Castelló.

In 2023, various schools from the CeSCa network, coordinated by this public entity, organised several tree-planting events simultaneously with pupils and the local communities. Prior to this action, Life Terra carried out two online sessions with teachers to train them and provide them with the knowledge and tools needed for a successful planting event. During these sessions, teachers learned how to organise planting events, how to plant trees correctly, how to use the LT tre-tagging platform, how to select the right species, how to find suitable land and build key partnerships, such as local NGOs and the municipality.

Technicians and educators from the GVA coordinated and hosted these online sessions, facilitating the communication between the Life Terra team and the teachers/schools.
