Municipality of Trifylia

From 2011, Aetos has been a municipal unit of the municipality of Trifylia. The Municipality of Trifylia, based in Kyparissia, consists of the former municipalities: a. Aetos, b. Avlona, c. Gargaliani, d. Kyparissia, e. Filiatra and the community of Tripila.

In 2021, CERTH and the Municipality organised a planting event to regreen different areas of the village, such as the cemetery, school yards and the surroundings of monuments in honour of people killed by Nazi soldiers.

The event counted on the participation of local authorities, the CERTH team and volunteers from the village.
