Municipality Soto del Real

Located in the foothills of the Sierra de Guadarrama near Madrid, Soto del Real is a municipality known for its commitment to sustainability, biodiversity, and community engagement. Surrounded by natural landscapes, the town has been developing a wide range of environmental initiatives, aiming to improve green infrastructure, protect native ecosystems, and promote ecological awareness among citizens.

In may 2022, Life Terra forces with Hope Foundation and the Corredor Biológico Mundial to plant a food forest within the municipality. This special event brought together local volunteers and organizations to co-create a space that not only nurtures biodiversity but also provides food, shade, and community value. We’re proud to have supported this initiative and look forward to seeing it grow!
