Social Forest

Social Forest is a Catalan forest management and forestry work company dedicated to training and job placement for unemployed or socially excluded young people. This dual professional and social dimension leads it to offer high-quality forestry services while contributing to social cohesion and professional training for the youth. With work programs in Catalonia and Germany, SocialForest defends sustainable development capable of reconnecting society with the rural environment and promoting the use of clean energy.

Social Forest not only manages existing forests in a sustainable way, but also helps to increase diversity and restore patches of land that can use trees. Social Forest trains young people and naturally attracts a lot of volunteers. Together with Life Terra we aim to accelerate tree planting projects in Spain and Germany and to engage not only volunteers but also large groups of citizens.
