Viladecans City Council

Viladecans is a small town in the province of Barcelona with a strong commitment to climate action. The City Council, as part of one of the actions of the Public Space Management Committee, wants to renaturalise and transition to a more resilient city to face climate change and pollution.

To do that, the City Council collaborated with different NGOs (Life Terra, Plant For the Planet, Fundació Selvans, etc.), companies and schools to plant 500 trees in the Marina and Riera parks.

In this context, Life Terra organised many planting events involving committed companies and local schools and collaborating with the NGOs involved.
